K&s~it is a sweet mellon,but minus the seeds... I guess we will not be having any seed-spitting contests .

Seedless watermelon allows faster eating, hence I like prefer it, but I agree that it looks funny.

We missed the 4th of July in the USA by one day, but my daughters are still thrilled about the prospect of eating watermelon all summer!
