Bacon in Brown Sugar

Quick  and easy!
Wonderful appetizer directly from the oven to the table

I cut the large pieces of bacon into thirds.

Use one pound of apple-wood or similar tasting bacon. Sprinkle one cup of dark brown sugar thoroughly over bacon. (Cover each piece really well.) Seal in a container and refrigerate overnight. Place each slice on a baking rack, which is placed on a cookie sheet or similar. Bake about 25-30 minutes, at 300 degrees, turning occasionally until brown. Serve immediately.

Jann, I have never seen bacon look so good. I will try this - probably once the weather cools.

I did have chocolate-covered bacon at a chocolate tasting event last year...

Looks (and probably tastes) truly sinful....

I know the bacon has to be good. But your photographs are out of this world.

How can I hide this recipe? If I put it in my MacGourmet, I know it will continually call to me until I've made it ...
I can't hide it, it's yelling too loud. Could you just send me one piece, perhaps that would satisfy ... OK maybe three pieces then.
