Paris Fleas-Itching to See!

Attracted by people from all over the world, the Paris Flea Markets continue to be a conglomeration of antiguities, entertainment and shops all squeezed into a vibrant bustling area of Paris . Frequently I make the journey just to see what has been gathered up, tucked into narrow alleys and put out for display-it is a wonderful place to take picures and to spend a day. There is no "getting into" this area and "getting out" in a few hours-that's not going to happen! Nor is there a lack of food ...... Any type of food you might be desiring, you will find along the many streets throughout the Paris Flea Markets.........be sure to go on your next visit!

Ooh la la, would you look at that glassware! I intend to try to get to a flea market, but I may have to go alone. My DH will get restless, for certain.

Mon Dieue, Jann, the stuff! Love these photos.

You really know how to get a gal on the Internet and looking for cheap fares to Paris!
I'm such a sucker for silver and glassware. We did a lot of walking in Paris during the 11 days we were there yet I never once saw a flea market. Where is this one?

Christine-this all takes place near the Porte de Clignancourt metro stop-one market, Marche Dauphine, is where a few photos were taken. The are several out there, worth the trip!

This is a great spot, and your pictures are super. I visited the market during the millenium celebrations -- it's a wonderful place to wander!

I never miss it when I'm in Paris. We keep threatening to drive so we can haul lots of stuff home. Common sense keeps us on the train....
