I really had not planned to be in New York for the weekend, but it turned out to be one of the best I have had in years. The rain stopped, the sun decided to pop out and people began filling the walkways and aisles. Their carts and baskets were overflowing with the produce and spring delicacies brought in from NY and a few other surrounding states.

This will inspire me to start cooking...in fact, I'm heading for the kitchen!!!
The Greenmarket has definitely changed the way I feel about New York in springtime, too. It is such an optimistic place, filled with good energy and the promise of an abundant summer.
beautiful photos!
How incredible for Union Station in NYC! It's enough to make you believe again.
Isn't the Greenmarket wonderful? I like to try and sneak down on Friday morning before work and buy produce for the weekend. Interestingly, I was driving by Union Square about 3 in the afternoon on Saturday!
Absolutely gorgeous photos - you are an incredible photographer. How I wish I could have been with you.
